Software Engineer — Based anywhere, building everywhere
Building engineering systems that scale people — not just code.
I architect systems at scale — event-driven platforms, backend infrastructure, and developer tooling trusted by thousands of engineers. I find the high-leverage problems that sit at the intersection of architecture and engineering culture, and I build solutions that compound in value over time.

01 — About
I'm a software engineer with 5 years of experience building the systems that engineering organizations depend on. From developer tooling, backend infrastructure, and to the kind of platform work that makes thousands of engineers quietly grateful (even if they don't know your name).
I spent years at LinkedIn designing and scaling the tools that power how engineers write, review, and ship code. My most recent work, a Code Ownership platform adopted by 5,000+ engineers, cut worst-case ownership validation from 15+ minutes to under 3 minutes. Turns out people really appreciate not waiting around.
When I'm not coding, you might find me exploring new programming languages, working on personal projects, making matcha, or going down some interesting internet rabbit hole (True Crime).

03 — Experience
September 2023 — July 2025
Senior Software Engineer
Led the design and org-wide rollout of a Code Ownership platform adopted by 5,000+ engineers — reducing worst-case ownership validation in large monorepos from 15+ minutes to under 3 minutes. Defined technical strategy and a multi-quarter roadmap that aligned 100+ teams on standardized approval enforcement. Architected a flexible, directory-based ownership model supporting complex approval semantics across both monorepo and microservice orgs. Built Python/Flask backend services and REST APIs backed by Couchbase for high-throughput production traffic, and owned the GitHub App enforcing ownership policies on every pull request. Also built a Slack notification system to nudge reviewers (politely, but firmly).
November 2019 — September 2023
Software Engineer
Worked on LinkedIn's migration from ReviewBoard to GitHub; a change that affected every engineer at the company and probably caused exactly one week of collective grumbling before everyone admitted it was better. Designed and developed custom GitHub Apps for the code review pipeline including CI pre/post-merge checks, custom validations, and the foundations of Code Ownership. Maintained GitHub Cloud Bridge, an intermediary service normalizing, filtering, and routing GitHub webhooks into on-prem Kafka events. Optimized webhook filtering and Kafka processing to improve scalability and reliability across the platform.

Teaching Assistant
University of Washington
TAed CSE 373 Data Structures and CSE 415 Artificial Intelligence while completing a Mathematics degree. Helped hundreds of students understand recursion (at least once per student, and then again, and then one more time). One of those students later became a coworker and friend of mine at LinkedIn. I know this because I graded his final.
